This picture is of a pretty foal named Bella. Although she is very young, she has already had many lesons to build her self confidence. For this reason she can rock the red cap while she casually chows on some new greens.

This photograph is of Moonlight being warmed up for her first ride. You can tell by the low angle of her neck that she feels comfortable and trusts her handlers. Not only is she completely blinded and draped by the tarp, but she is surrounded by the clanging of large coffee tins being struck together, and a silly puppy running around her hoofs. This kind of excersize is only a small part of her training. It reminds her that she is safe even in unusual circumstance and that humans are good and trustworthy.

We love and respect our animals. Also, we realize that some of the things we ask them to do probably sound just plain crazy! For example our Baraat horses are expected to walk ever so calmly and slowly throughout a ceremony of loud drums and musical instruments, throngs of people in elaborate costumes dancing and crowding around them, and people touching them anywhere at any moment and riding on their backs with unfamiliar props. We want our experiences to be pleasurable and safe for everyone involved. This is why we invest our time to ensure that our animals have confidence that they will never be placed in situations that they cannot handle and that they can count on us to ensure that they are at all times comfortable and safe.
